What's the risk of putting gauges?

I'm thinking about putting gauges on my evo. What's the risk that I'm taking when it comes to 'voiding' the warranty? I'm thinking about maybe putting a boost gauge, oil pressure gauge, oil temp gauge. Will putting gauges void any manufacture's/ dealers warranty?

It's an Evo . . . your warranty was voided when you drove it off the lot
Seriously though, I don't think they can do anything as long as you didn't hack anything up, which you really have no reason to for installing any of the gauges you mentioned. You're not adding any power, so you should be fine.

Don't see why gauges would void the warranty like was said above, but you'd probably be pushing it with the fuzzy dice.

The added weight of the dice hanging from the rearview mirror is what caused yoru shocks to go out. Warranty VOID!!

I have heard of them voiding warranties for turbo timers, but not guages yet. But if they need a reason to void your warranty don't worry they will find one.

it probably won't void the warranty, but it will bring attention to the dealer of the possibility for other mods.

theres a gray area when it comes to electrical gauges. our rep grilled me about my blue racer stand alones, and told me if i had the defi d that hook into the control unit he would have voided some of my warrenty. complete BS, but whatever.

This is one reason why I installed the OEM MR/RS gauge pack. Plug and play; I didn't cut a single wire. I bought it used for $190 shipped, with the radio relocation kit and all accessories included.
