Possible big problem...help

Well...I was putting on a torque damper and I was torqueing on my motor mount nut back and well I guess I put way to much torque (it could have been because the engine still a little hot) on it but the stud on the motor mount broke off there are 2 more studs that are on there but the one is broken off...it seems to be running fine and I hope it doesn't cause me trouble in the near future...what can I do? The stud is part of the engine so it's not like I can just replace it...is there anyway it can be soldered back on??

From in front of my computer I'm not sure if the studs are pressed in or threaded. I'd guess that they are threaded but screwed into undersized threads. Either way the stub will be difficult to remove. So, unless you are expert with tools you will require the services of a machine shop.

First off studs are never part of an engine block they are screwed in like the any other bolt. They just happen to be double sided.

You first drill it out then tap it and put a new one in.
