thisguy, i believe that was what was happening, they said it was rattling when they had it fit perfect so they just hung it lower because they couldn't get a hold of me. I'm leaving mine hanging low till i getta day off and adjust it and slap on the EVOgreen i have laying around. Yeah i don't know whats up w/the server but it isn't showing guys, sorry. Thanks guys for all the help though.

that bolt in my pictures if in between the cat and the o2 bung on the catback. the bolt holds the driveshaft holder thing. i'll snap a further back picture tomorrow.

i heard that an aftermarket dp and cat will drop the exhaust a little and it'll stop the rattling.

i did install the catback myself, but i dont know how much "play" there is to pull the catback down on the cat side to increase distance between the pipe and bolt. note that they're like 2mm in between the bolt and the pipe

I had the same problem when I had the rolled tip Greddy ti. All I did was just bend that **** away from the mid pipe and problem SOLVED!

yes try bending the hanger downward, but mine fit fine....makes me wonder if your installer did something else to cause this issue....my downpipe, testpipe fit great...could be it's your downpipe that is causing the prob...what kinda Downpipe you running?

if you bend it away, it wont mess up the driveshaft? like causing too much stress on the other hangers for it?

i would post my picture of the bolt on the dp, but i cant find the USB connection thing for my camera.

the bolt that's hitting the pipe is above the area between the o2 bung on the catback and the outlet of the cat.

I thought it would mess up the driveshaft but it actually connects a smaller size chassis heatshield. So it practically had no use once I took off that small heatshield and bent that thing away from the exhaust mid pipe.

Man that pipe is hangin way too high...something else is outta whack...the pipe should be lower. What kinda Down pipe you running? and what about the cat or test pipe. the pipe shouldnot even be close to hitting that Specific bolt....hit us back with your Downpipe model, is it a slipon hanger type or a bolton hanger type? What brand is it?

update on my issue. i had a friend remove the nut and saw off the bolt. now it doesnt rattle at all. lol. it turns out that even autobacs shaved my friends bolt off...i guess a lot of people so since that bolt mainly holds the heat shield thats above the area where the cat is supposed to be

i'm still having issues with mine......My midpipe doesnt even come close to that heat shield...the flange from the midpipe to axleback is hitting the bottom of the car.....the canister is too far left and the midpipe seems to be too far right.....ugh...how annoying.

sounds like something is wrong with your install

try loosening the catback to cat and pull down on the catback while tightening the bolts

check your hangers to see that nothing is wrong there.

since your canister is left...adjust the band around it to move the canisters position
