I traded in my srt4 alittle over a month ago for my 05 VIII and I love it. This car is just so much fun to drive. I just threw on a tbe last weekend and I love it even more. I test drove an 05 sti a while back and I didnt really like the way it felt with that electronic pedal stuff. But like I said I'm more than pleased with this car!

I'd say shoot for the IX. The MIVEC is going to give you a lot more potential of power from mods than the VIII's or previous models. You'll be really happy with it.

As far as being happy with the EVO over the WRX, I'd say that even though the cars are similar, they are different beasts. The EVO has more of a punch to it because of the higher boost levels and I personally think that the EVO has a better look to it. However, it's your opinion. The car is hella fun to drive, so don't worry about not having enough power or "fun" while driving.

I pay $440 every 6 months @ 24yr old and I'm currently under penalty for a moving infraction (rolling through a stop sign) about 2 years ago. I'm paying $6 more per month than my Impreza 2.5i I traded in for my IX

I'm paying around 150-160 a month for two cars, my WRX and my wifes sunfire. I'm trying to find an 05-06 with fair miles. I got some time to look though, I'm currently sitting in the Sandbox for the next 3 1/2 months. When I get home is when I'll be getting something new, hopefully an 05MR!
