Yup, but unless it's a very expensive dry carbon fiber, you'd be better off sticking with your very lightweight aluminum stocker hood

Lets say that i have to change my hood and i like one but its CARBON FIBER so i wanna get it painted

Probably, because the carbon stuff comes with like a gel type clear on it or something, you probably have to rough that stuff up good to prime it. Cost difference shouldn't be that much though I wouldn't think.

Have you thought about getting another OEM hood from a member here who is selling one? That would probably be the cheapest alternative.

yes

you can paint your hood but make sure you prep it right. you dont want the paint to start coming off of it. why would you have to change your hood.
anyway carbon fiber paint or no is good to have. kae sure its secure you dont want it popping up on you. good luck
