Hello there from Italy! the 350Z is gone for good...

ok, so here we go...a big hello from sunny Rome in Italy.

new baby coming along forces a change in the garage...I am selling my 35th anniv Z to go for a brand new IX.
Now, just a few quick ones for you gurus:
1. anyone have any complaints/problems with the IX? I've had pretty serious oil consumption problems with the Z and wouldn't want anymore problems...
2. colour shortlist: white or blue. what should I go for?
3. the EU version of the IX comes with what you guys call MR headlamps (HID) and taillamps. now, I'm obsessed by LEDs: has anyone done a conversion? I've seen some of evoDave's work and I wander if he could do that sort of thing. Japanese NAMS tails look the business I must say...
4. what inital mods should I be looking to do? my NA Z has both intake and exaust mods that have done the business...
5. Is Ralliast really the business? I mean NISMO seems to be for the Z...but I know HKS, GReddy and loads of others have great products...

CIAO everyone, off I go to the rest of the forum threads!

color: I vote white
first mods: turbo-back exhaust, drop in filter, boost controller, flash

I haven't had any problems with my IX yet other than burning up the stock tires in 10k miles.

Good luck with the new purchase and enjoy!

1. 30K miles and no major problems at all, really absolutely nothing. Still on the stock clutch with 310whp and over 40 hard drag strip launches. Only problem I ever had was my radiator fan cracked and punctured the radiator, but that very well could have been caused by a rock or something. Other than that not a single problem. Going to get my 30K service done pretty soon.

2. My car is white and white is a good EVO color, but my favorite color is Blue so I would say go with blue. But white or blue, doesn't matter both great colors for an EVO.

3. Not sure, somebody else can answer that or contact EvoDave.

4. TBE, filter, MBC, fuel pump, and tune

5. Ralliart products are nice, but in my opinion over priced. There are a lot of American companies that ship international, such as AMS and Buschur, can't go wrong with either of those companies.

hi there, welcome to the forums

- i vote for blue
- greddy, AMS, buschur and many more are popular brands around here.
- i'd go for for a TBE, drop in filter, fuel pump, boost controller and a tune.

good luck !
