There's plenty of 600awhp Evos.. I've seen a couple for sale.. just here in MN.

And I like Cobras (at least the 03+ S/C ones..) but I've never thought, "DAMN. I don't think I can live life without a Mustang.."

600whp is clearly a stretch.. lol. But I'm not looking for a daily driver.

 

What meth/alky injection kits do you Evo kids run?

It'd be nice to be able to use an alky kit and run pump gas.

 

I just went through that change today... except he didn't let me drive it. Can't wait to get it.

 

Snow performance has a nice kit. Walking a sti with a 35R would be a fun build. Some people are able to get similar numbers outta the FP green 20G now. Enjoy the car, its a different beast completly

Your going to love your evo!!! I just got mine Feb. and it was my first time driving an EvO and it was love at first ride!!! I use to live in Japan so I had my fair share of daily drives but can't really afford a skyline here.

 

Evo's are nice...handle great, tight steering and a decent platform. Mitsubishi did everything right, just cut corners on the clutch (its the same one in the 4-cyl eclipse, thats why they burn up so fast).

An 03/04 cobra + 2k will get you 550 - 575rwhp, but I'm biased

 

Mitsu did not cut corners on the clutch. They made it weak on purpose so morons that drop there car from 5k constantly end up with a worn out clutch as opposed to broken axles, tranny, etc. With a 5k drop, grippy tires, and awd, something has to give...
