just keep looking!!! deals do come by just not offten, check autotrader.com, cars .com EVERYDAY!!!! it took me 4 mounths to find a deal on my car got a 2003 white evo 8 with 27k miles for only $22,000. just trust me keep looking!!! i cant stress it enough!!

 

for me that's to much.If I'me not mistaken $19K will get you to a new RS. Are you gonna buy it from a private party or dealership?

 

I don't think it's a good deal. I think 17 and change for an rs with 40k on the clock would be a decent deal.

 

'03 -'04's have open front diff, no ACD, 9.8 Hotside, questionable transfer cases/trannies on the '03's....

You will most likely pay more for the Helical diffed, ACD, 10.5HS '05's no doubt. RS's are the rarest harcore choice. MR shell without the weaker 6-speed, Bilsteins, ABS sensors, power L/W and hulking rear wiper. Firewall insulation alone is worth 20lbs. RS w/spare tire/jack & 5mph bumper crash bars taken out loses another 70lbs over its already lighter weight. You will have to get used to unlocking the doors manually that sucks....windows arent bad though. Its nice to be able to move the glass when the keys are somewhere else & you get more legroom w/ window cranks

19k will get you 2/3 of the way to a new RS, sticker price is 29,995
