Front CV Boot question.

I have had my Evo about a month now. I bought a 2003 Evo VIII in great condition but I noticed a on the front right tire that the CV Boot needs to be replaced. Where is my best option to buy a replacement? Should I just replaced the boot or would it be easier to replace the whole axle?

Depends on how long it's been driven with the bad boot. Has alot of the grease come out? Personally, I would replace the whole axle. It's better to be safe then sorry.

Is there a good place to buy a new axle or should I just go to a dealer? About how much do you think it will cost? Any and all help is very welcome. I am new to the Evo's.

The dealer, also known as the devil, would be pretty damn expensive. Unless you wanted to upgrade your axles (I dont know what your hp goals are) shop around. I had good luck with a store here in jersey called Thuls. They were always good about getting these parts for me at a good price.

I don't plan on getting any sort of extreme hp any time soon if ever. I just like being able to smoke my brother-in-laws SRT-4. Anyone know a good shop around the Saint Louis MO area?
