X looks fine to me.

When I looked through the side-by-side pictures of the two cars in the other post there wasn't any angle that I thought looked better on the IX. I prefer the sleek, rounded look of the X to the boxy, angular look of the IX. But it's all personal preference for which "look" you like better.

You're calling the IX boxy compared to the X? Okay.

I am not too fond of the looks. But I must admit Mitsubishi is taking a step in right direction.

The rear looks like crap in comparison to what? The previous lancer? In my opinion its a dramatic improvement everywhere. I know we all own EVO VIIIs, IXs, previous generation Lancers but I think we are being very bias. The majority of people who haven't thought the new Lancers and Prototype EVO X were improvements have been owners of EVO VIIIs, IXs, previous generation Lancers and I wonder if we are just in denial. I've shown the new Lancer and Prototype to countless numbers of people who do not own EVOs or Lancers, and they have all loved it and thought it was a tremendous improvement over the previous models. I think those are the customers Mitsubishi is trying to reach. When it comes to us, Mitsubishi knows we may complain, but as long as it performs we will still buy. I'm sorry but it doesn't matter how the EVO X looks we still will have haters who are just in denial because they own a EVO IX or EVO VIII.

I love the whole new look too. I have an 05 Ralliart and I think the 08 Lancer looks WAY better than my car. I myself am waiting for the EVO X when the EVO finally arrives in Canada in 2008. Good job Mitsu.

Couldn't said any better It seems that all the new Lancer haters already own some type of a Lancer, I own one and I like the car but I would have to be either totally blind or lack any kind of aesthetic taste to not to notice that the new Lancer is miles ahead in interior and exterior design over any previous Lancer Mitsubishi has ever produced (2008 GTS with a 2.0l engine has about the same 0-60 time than the previous generation Ralliart, and a new Ralliart hasn't even been released yet, performance wise, 2008 Lancer is at least over a second faster than the previous generation base Lancer). 2008 Lancer represents a huge leap forward for Mitsubishi, I live around two Mitsubishi dealers and eversince the new Outlander and now the Lancer has been released, there is definately an increased traffic around the dealerships and I think that is what Mitsubishi hoped would happen. Can't wait for the new Evo X, if the current stock MR can get 0-60 in about 4.6 sec., I am boldly prediciting that Evo X equivalent of MR will be at least 0.3-0.4 faster than that.

I've seen a couple of the new lancers running around town, and they look great. The rear end is similar to the Lexus IS, and i think it looks great. Can't wait for the X and the new RalliArt will be a great step up from the GTS. I like what Mitsu is doing, they are definitely going to bounce back.

Not too sure on how it's gonna work out with the RalliArt and the Evo being sold at the same time. I'm sure one car or the other will be taking away sales from the other, if the RalliArt is turbo.
