all of a sudden no electrical power AT ALL

Well the battery is relocated to the trunk and has been successfully back there for quite some time now. the engine is out of the car and we were just making sure we had the fuel pumps wired up correctly, which they were. everything worked fine and had NO electrical issues until i was holding some wires back in the trunk and then all of a sudden the trunk light goes out and the car has ZERO power at all. the wires we were looking at are all shielded fine and there's almost no chance that metal touched metal anywhere. We looked at the fuses under the hood and havent checked the ones under the steering wheel completely yet. We even hooked jumper cables up to the other working car and still no power at all on the Evo. What could this be? I mean there's no power AT ALL! the doors dont beep, no lights come on, no radio, no fuel pump, there isnt even a spark at all when the negative battery cable is touched to the negative terminal on the battery. We're gonna check the fuse box under the steering wheel, but until then if any of you guys have any ideas, help please!

Thanks!

the battery ground is perfectly fine. we double and triple checked the ground on the battery. everything is very solid and in place just as it's been since day one

if you have a voltmeter, check if you even have 12v at the battery. then go from there.

Have you tried to jump it using the original battery terminals? I would make sure the battery is good and then get a testlight and start from there. Good luck.

Yes, I did try using jumper cables but still no power. In my experience if you attach jumper cables to even a dead battery. You will at LEAST get interior lights to come on and all the small things to be powered. But not even that happened.
