How much for a clutch install?

Mitsubishi warranty pays 8 hours for a clutch, we charge 10 hours non warranty. It's a complete PITA though. The whole damn car has to come apart to get that trans out its rediculous.

ain't that the truth. first one I ever did was a VI and this was right before the VIII came out so no FSM. Messed up on releasing the lock on the release bearing, killed both the release bearing and the locking clip . Lucky for me, there was a gap that was JUST big enough for me to unbolt the pressure plate from the flywheel and that it was the shop car.

it depends on where your get it done, if you go the dealer then it will run you approx. 93 bucks an hours and the job is like `12 hours lol but i got mine done for 400 at a body shop, the reason it's more expensive then most cars is because the car is all wheel drive and that causes some more problems in the installation. but yea i wouldn't pay more then 500 bills for that!

I agree. 500-600 dollars is what I've found it costs for labor.
