Boost gauge isn't usefull if you have an EBC, unless you want redundancy. Wideband is a must have for tuning, but I only look at it in logs, I can't look at it while I am going WOT and you can't set a lean alarm on it as when you are just cruising and running 14.7 it would be going off.
Provided you have a wideband for logging if you are doing any tuning then:
I think Oil Pressure and EGT are the two most important. Oil pressure speaks for itself and EGT you can set a warning level and thats easier to monitor during WOT than an O2 and is going to tell you when you are running too lean by too much heat.
Thats my 2 cents. Really its all personal preference in what you intend to do with the car.
If I could only have 2 gauges and I did not have an EBC I would get 3 gauges and get boost, OP, and EGT.
The EBC having a boost gauge is the same thing - it's still a boost gauge and is the most important.
EGT is not needed nor useful. You don't need a warning for it. Wideband can be viewed while racing (mine is on my steering column) and logged for tuning. I use mine for both.
Oil temp and water temp can also be used while racing and are very important for not overheating. EGT plays no role in this case. EGT is the least used and least important on the Evo except for maybe on some highly modified setups. I can't imagine getting OP and EGT in place of a wideband. That really makes no sense, imo.
