Has anyone bought a universal silencer for their exhaust tip? There is one for sale with many listings on Ebay that seems like it will fit my GReddy Evo2 (4.5" tip)... however it attaches via the common method through a hole in the tip.

Are there any silencers that can be quickly inserted and removed that don't require a hole through the tip? ie, clamp from the inside?


And yeah, the Evo2 is supposed to be quiet, but it still drones, and I'd like a quieter car when the family is present...

 

I went to get my car inspected and put the silencer in by just pushing it in,no need for the bolt the fit was tight enough to just go to get it inspected and back home then took it out.Other exhausts might not fit that tight.
