HKS rs intake

Can you run a hks rs intake without getting a flash? i've read that on evo8s without a flash some people have rough idling and some other problems but i've also read you can run it on an evo ix without those problems. i plan to get a flash later on, but after i save up some more money for the mod fund and get some other parts. thanks guys

too much air...it will throw your AFR's off and run to lean....learned the hard way...invest in the K&N drop-in...

Itl SOUND great thats for sure BUT a biggie mistake if you dont eventually get a reflash.....you MAY have a rougher idle but more importantly.....like everyone else said...itl run too lean and you dont want to start detonating. I installed mine but drove it normal for a week untill i had mine reflashed.

save yourself the headache and get a e-flash when you put the intake on.

This is one of those intakes that require tonnnnnes of fuel added during spoolup to get nice AFR's
