Welcome to the board and grats on the RA! As for mods and anything you need for the RA I suggest Road Race Motorsports they are everything RA and great customer service! As power increases of course there is some things that will take away some drive ability and gas mileage so just go with the idea when modding that give something and take something.. so faster car, lower MPG.. Also how heavy your foot also correlates with MPG -lol- But all in all just have fun with your new ride.. it wont let you down for what the car is!

Welcome to the forums. What'd a 3-year-old RA with 14,000 on it end up costing you, if you don't mind? Most of us bought ours new, and while I can't speak for everyone, I *finally* got rightside-up on my loan about 6 months ago, when it was half paid off. Sucks that they depreciated so fast. Well, sucks for us, it's probably great for you.

The best advice for better fuel economy is to keep it below 3500 rpms. I know they like to fly on the tollway down there, but you'll have to just set the cruise for 73 or so.

Man, I redline it everywhere I go :/ What are some techniques used to conserve gas? and I hope no one says Park it!
drive everywhere in 5th? keep it under 2000RPM?

I know driving slower will help, but lets get realistic here!

well i traded my truck in they gave me 14000 for it i ended up paying 1700 out of pocket so i think i made up pretty well. my goal in life is to never ever have a car payment (yeah i know, it will happen) so i think i got off well on that.

i looked at that site, and i saw 2 cold air intakes id like, once is cheaper and the pipe looks shorter.. so i dunno.. the other one i saw is a longer pipe.. so i dont know which one would be better

oh and i got a heavy foot.... right now i serve as a military recruiter, so i speed everywhere.. kinda a habit now

but i was also looking at headers and exhaust.. how much power do you think those three will add to it? id also like to avoid the ricer whine if i can.

one is a Short ram Intake(the short one) and the long one is the Cold Air Intake. CAI is better.

^cai better for maunual, sri better for auto
cai adds top end, sri add low end

best combo(everyone will agree) is intake, pulley and tie bar (possibly exhaust/muffler aswell)
but get those first three anywaiz to start
BTW, idk why RRM hasnt already put them into a 'starters package' ? ...

also rpw.com.au sell stuff for the RA aswell
