Question Any ideas on how to attach front license plate mount? (IX)

So after finally getting a warning last night for no front plate I've decided to attach my front plate. I've got the frame and hardware, but no instructions. It looks like I'll have to drill into my bumber to attach the piece. Does anybody have any experience attaching the piece on a IX? Thanks

bring to a dealer, say that they forget to put it on for you when you bought it.
They'll most likely do it free of charge.

Ya I was hoping to avoid the dealer since I don't want to have to put my stock exhaust back on

oh OK, well you'll have to drill 3 holes on the front bumper, maybe some can post a pic here to show you where they are located.

WTB I have been driving for over couple of yrs without front plate and no warning or ticket yet.

Ok I'll figure it out. I've been fine for a while, I rarely speed and never street race (I AutoX and do some HPDEs) so it just bugs me that they see the car and assume that I do. But I can't complain as I was technically breaking the law. Worst part of it was, about 10 mins after getting pulled over some guy on a street bike passed me (double yellow line), did a wheelie and went off.

Didn't you just get a fixit ticket?

Lots of people just zip tie it, show that it's on, and take it off once they get home.

That way you don't have holes in your front bumper.

I just got a warning saying that I needed to get it fixed within 20 days, no ticket. I thought about doing the whole zip tie thing, but I'm in a relatively small town and see these cops all the time. I probably see the one who pulled me over at least twice a week
