newb noise question.
newb noise question.
ok i didnt find any help in search.
i had what i thought was an exhaust leak a week or 2 ago. i drove as little as possible till i could look at it. i thought it was a manifold gasket(head to exhaust) then i notice some burnt looking area(white exhaust powder ****) so i thought it was from the down pipe where it connects to the turbo. so i make some gaskets out of copper and put them in their didnt work. the car sounds like it has a bent valve or some crap i went to use the 2nd map with meth and when i hit the switch the dar dies(i have 2 switches to hit and i did it right) so after that the car sounded like crap.
im going to do comp test in the morn.
any ideas on the sound, coils? plugs?
plugs look ok ill replace just cause. and do the coils go out often it these cars?
any help is greatly appreciated

Other than the noise what else is the car doing besides dying when you hit the switch...Does it lack in power? Where did you see the white exhaust powder because white smoke means that your head gasket is messed and it's burning water.
thier is no smoke its the white residue from the exhaust. but its coming from between the turbo exhaust housing and the downpipe.
