Hello everyone from Pakistan, few questions here

Hello everyone,

I am from Karachi Pakistan and as far as the Evo is concerned i am a total noob, you can call me a typical honda boy lol

Ever since i sat in my friend's Evo i fell in love with it, and now i desperately want one for me but i have few questions if you guys don't mind

1. We don't have a 3S here in our country for Mistu, we do have Mistu dealers but they don't support Evo as far as maintainance is concerned how hard would it be to keep the car in top notch condition

2. How is Evo as a daily runner? my average running is around 100 km per day

3. The octane level of fuel available here is HORRIBLE we get leaded fuel and its giving me real concerns, is it possible to tune the car to make it suitable for lower octane's level?

4. I have a old Apexi VAFC from my old civic and i was wondering if it would be of any use in Evo or should i just sell it off instead of keeping it for my future buy

nice to aboard this community

regards,

Saquib

If you have an old Vafc, I would just get rid of it for future mods. Since you can retune the ECU on these cars it wouldn't be worth much in the long run.

I daily my evo, granted I've only had it for a week lol.

It is possible to tune to a lower octane but I wouldn't advise it.

I would not run my Evo on leaded fuel period.. She loves 93 octane too much.

I drove my Evo for 30K+ miles on LEADED 110 race fuel. No problems.

Don't dump the clutch, and it will extend the life of your car. Welcome to the "Family".
