Hey EvoM!
I've been lurking for a little while now, as I was considering which new car to buy, and I've finally done it!
So, after wondering what the best bang for the buck for up to 30k would be, after asking for people's recommendations, after switching from one car to another, after worrying about losing the money I've worked so hard to get, I finally purchased a new car. I found a car that has great performance, decent looks and practicality; a car I can drive for the next 10-15 years without worry, a car that will allow me to enjoy driving, instead of a boring point A to point B commute, and a car that I can personalize/mod.
This weekend, I was reborn a DSM (from Honda) and bought a brand new, 2006 Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution IX, Special Edition, in Tarmac Black.
I won't bore you with pictures of the car stock. I need to learn how to drive better, but that's a lifelong process. I think the fear of spending that kind of money, the fear of driving my very own and brand new car, and the fear of driving manual are just about clear. Once the car's broken in, let the fun begin!
