problems starting??

hey guys i gotta problem with my evo. when i got it from turbo trix i noticed that it took many cranks to start up. ever since then, my car doesnt even start. i thought it could be the battery so i took it to autozone and charged it. didnt solve the problem. could it be my alternator?? i heard that evo alternators rarely fail. i spent all this money on my car to hook it up and tune it and i still didnt even get to unleash the beast. what do you guys think it could be????

I see that you have a AEM EMS. This is a typical thing of having a EMS, the nature of the beast.

i am now having the same problem. i went to pick the car up from Buschur Racing back in Feb and the battery was dead. dave tried to jump charge the battery and then tried to jump start the vehicle. neither onw worked. he then replaced the battery and changed the spark plugs. the car fired up fine then. due to the weather i wasn't able to get on or run the car hard. so a few days later i tried to hook up my laptop to get some logs and was unable to connect to the AEM. then when trying to run the car with the alky on, it ran like ****, and didn't work. lately i have had problems with what i thought was the alternator or ignition system. now the body shop that has my car can not get it started. could the AEM be burnt up, and be draining the battery? it ie either that or something is grounded somewhere.
