well i bought a afc neo and a plug and play for it. I put it all together in my evo 8 yesterday and had it working for about 3 hours. I stomp on the car and it back fires so i look at my afc and its not working and i had a check engine light. so i rest the battery and tryed again and it gave me a check engine light again and the afc never turned on. so when i un pluged it all put it back to stock the car worked fine but the afc sounded like some thing came loose in it. any one have any ideas what could of happend.

hard to say what happened but there is a good possibilty there was a short in the wiring. personally i would return it and look into ecuflash
