Question about fender lining

Has anyone removed the front fender liners? I need to remove mine to fit the wheel/tire combo I have but am nervous about taking the liner out. To those that have is there any problems after removing it? Should I leave some parts of it in so nothing fly's into the engine compartment? I already have the lower panel removed for good after about the 20th time taking it off. What a PITA. Thanks for any help.

im assuming your car is quite the beast if you need to remove your fender liner to fit your tires on. If this is the case i will also assume it only gets driven when its nice out so rip that fender liner out and rock some big tires.

Personally, I dunno if I would remove them completely, I mean your oil filter is right there, plus it covers some of your engine, You should be able to leave that inner portion (covering the filter and the engine) and cut out the rest.

Just an Idea.

I have been rocking without the front undertray for a while, no issues yet.

I wouldn't exactly call it a beast, yet. The problem is that I sit about 1.75 lower than stock but am running a 245/45 17 NT01. I know the tire is a little tall but I got a great deal on them and would like to use them up. Once they are beat then I would change to a 275/40. I am using coilovers so I could raise it up some but would rather not change any susp. because I have it dialed in right where I want it. My Evo is a weekend warrior so I dont need to worry about the daily grind.
