As i'm sure you know, mods on a car when sold don't really raise the price unless you find a buyer who is willing to think differently because he really wants those mods.
That being said, i just finally bought an evo after looking for 3 months, and i basically crossed off any cars that were modded then brought back to stock. I was looking for a bone stock car, or one with the right mods that were done by the right person. When modded and put back to stock, i was very leary of the work done and the current tune (ie tuned for mods, but not re-tuned back for stock)
From what i saw evo's selling for, i'd expect to get ~$20k in it's current state. Maybe a bit more if you can find the right buyer.

Now thinking about it and reading up on your opinions, id be losing so much money by selling it. I only drive it during summer because i go to school in pittsburgh. Well i appreciate it.
Just wait for the X. You will probably only have 60k miles by then, still no big deal.
Unless you're just trying to trade up slightly due to not being able to afford a new one... if so, I would keep the one you got.
