Gauge Advice

I have a LC-1 wide band in my car and I am looking for a gauge that will work with it. I have been looking through a bunch of vendors websites, but I have yet to find on that says it will work. I need suggestions please.

Which gauge would be better, anolog or digital? No one has the digital instock.

How about the stock Mitsubishi gauges for the 9 MR? I'm thinking about buying the accessory and adding it to my 9 SSL. Are they pretty good? I like how they fit in the cubby hole, look clean and don't need any special moldings.

Mitsu doesn't offer a stock AFR gauge.

Sabastian, do you already have a way to log the AFR (DB9 or USB)?

the mitsu ones suck. Don't get it. They're too small, the lighting suck. Get a Defi or blitz one. U def can make them fit well any where you want

Actually, they do:
http://www.mitsubishipartsstore.com/...bc3590ee9d19f7
It's called the "Sports Meter Kit."
If you go under Mitsubishi's website and look up the Accessories for the Evo, it's stated as "turbo boost gauge, oil temperature gauge and voltage gauge all in one." I can't find any pictures of it online but you can see them in the stock 9 MR's. They fit into the cubby hole under the radio/CD player.

He needs an Air/Fuel gauge. That is not included in the Mitsu kit.

Also, the stock Mitsu gauges do not suck. The boost gauge is actually very accurate. It is dead on with my JDM MAP. They are small and could use better lighting, but the accuracy should not be questioned.

LTR, no one cares about the turbo gauge, oil temp gauge, or volt gauge. They guy is looking for an AFR (Air Flow Ratio)

Some useful gauges are ...

Boost - identify a boost or vacuum leak
Oil Pressure - Identify a damaged oil pan or line
AFR - Identify rich or lean fuel mix
EGT - Monitor for excessive temps from high boost or lean fuel mix
Fuel Level - Keeps you from getting stranded
Speedometer - Keeps you from getting arrested

If you are nuts about meters or have a track car, you might be watching oil temps, transmission temps, etc.

And some overlap, if you have an afr guage you generally don't need a egt (exhaust gas temp) since the afr is going to let you know if your lean anyway.

True, but a lean mix isn't the only cause of high EGT. Some people will tune slightly richer and pull timing to run more boost, which increases EGTs. For people who choose to tune this way, both EGT and AFR values should be monitored.
