IX's in general are rare IMHO, only one model year, kinda cool

 

Understandable....I am not saying the IX MR are anything less....but people were discussing which number MR they had. Like I stated before the 05 were marketed as Evolution 8 MR....while the others were just packages. In the end...we all drive evos, personally I dont care RS, GSR, MR, or MR SE....we're in the evo family.

 

When I was at the dealership to get my silver 05, there was a black 05 waiting to be picked up by the guy who bought it, so black is in there too.

 

 

also i drove a black 03 gsr, which i was going to buy at first, but then i got the better deal on the silver 05 with the SSL.

 

total production in 05 was supposed to be 2500, with 1000 coming to the states.
that's one of the reasons i went with an MR, in 05 you could only get graphite grey on the MR, none of the other models.

 

yes you could get a black gsr, but he was talking about the MR's where you couldnt get the black

The 05 MR are limited edition. The IX MRs are not.

yeah they had red white and GG color back in da days... i wished it was like that now.

now they got gg color in regular ones. that kinda defeats the purpose of having the GG MR. its not.... special anymore.??no i should say i paid more for the MR why make it look the same.

i wished they had yeller MR or the Blue MR

the brochure said there was a Blue MR but ive never seen one...

You're wrong. They didn't make a black '05 MR. What you saw had to be a normal GSR, or one they stuck a vortex gen on.
