Q advanced engine oil

Has anyone used the Q advanced engine oil? I see a lot of ads for it in car mags, but I haven't come across anyone who's used it yet. I tried a search but nothing relevant came up. Just looking for some info...

I don't know anything about that oil, but why would you risk your engine by trying something new...my advice is to stick with something that's proven and recommended... Mobil 1

Use 10w30 Mobil1 as the manual states or risk your oil pump and engine playing "tooner", its your choice.

q is a synthetic and synthetic blend line from quaker state. stick with mobile one, but if you are bent on getting a different engine oil, amsoil is the only way to go.

I ran Q 10W30 with 0 problems for 15K miles, I just switched back to mobil 1 recently because they didnt have any Q when I went to purchase oil last time. I flushed the system with a 2 full quarts of mobil 1 then refilled the oil. I did not notice any difference.

I wasn't going to use it, I was just wondering. I always see ads for it. I'm definitely going to stick with Mobil 1 since that's what the book says.
