question about how much fluid needs to be used for diff and transfer ......

well i just got my differential and transfer case oils changed from a friends shop (03 lancer evo) i bought the 5 quart canister of diaqueen. after they changed the oils i had a little over half the canister left of oil. my question is did they put enough oil (is that right?). i was just worried, i was thinking it might need the whole can?

also one other question, if i change the battery in my car would i need to reflash the ecu or anything like that? (sorry i know i know its really a stupid quesstion but i want to make sure i do everything right.

1 The transfer case using 0.63qts. The rear diff uses 0.58 qts.
2 Your flash will stay in your car
