Does anyone have this exhaust installed? How does it look...how does it sound?

 

Have you checked the Tanabe site,they have sound clips.I have this exhaust and the sound is great not to loud and a good deep tone.I have driven by plenty of cops and sat next to them at red lights and have never had one cop even turn his head to see what the sound was.Here's a couple of pics a little dark but you get the idea.Fitment is prefect,no rattles or rubbing.

This will be the exhaust for me...my AP one is just too damn loud...I've had 3 tickets on it already...not to mention all the cops that have followed me

 

It looks real nice, but I did have an issue with one of their exhausts in the past. the hanger broke off and there was a dime sized hole in my pipe that they did not want to fix. Customer service is garbage with them. nonetheless the exhaust looks good.

 

I don't use it,but this system comes with a silencer you can take in and out.I put mine in to get the car inspected,then take it back out.

 

How loud is it do you think with and without the silencer...does the silencer make any impact on performance?

 

I run it without the silencer all the time and it's not to loud.The silencer affects performance alot,it shrink's your 3" exhaust down to 1" so there's an obvious loss of performance.
