Window tint on apex silver
When i first got my evo, i put 22% in the back and 35% in the front. I wanted it a little darker so now i just put on 22% in the front and 4% limo in the back. It looks very very good. ill try to get pics up tonight. especially at night it looks bomb as hell, especially with black headlights.
Don't go TOO dark on the back window. Here are some pics of mine:
20% back window, quarter windows & windows on side rear doors
50% on front driver & passenger door windows

If you go to your local Mitsu dealer, they will have quite a few cars there that will have factory tint and they should be able to tell you how dark each rear window is. Go in the evening and sit in the car and see if you think it is too dark for your liking. I didn't like the really dark rear window because your visibility is too limited. I really like 20% for the back window because it looks dark as heck on the outside, but you can see well through it from inside the car...

Not on Apex Silver but my TB has 35% in the rear and 50% up front.
couple different shots

To be honest I wish it was just a little darker, at least in the front. I'm considering doing it again about about 25-30% all around.

Foggy, do you have any pictures from the side without the sun shade in the front window? I am having my windows done next week and the tint shop reccomends 5% on all rear windows and 35% on the front doors, I was thinking 35% may be too light and considering 20% but I would like to see more of your car from different andgles. I am sure the 15% is pretty comparable to the 5%.
Thanks!
Thanks!

You might be right about 20% looking a bit better than 35% on the front windows, I'd have to have two cars side by side to be sure. I know I like the way mine looks, but the only reason I went with 35% is because it's illegal in Cali to tint your front side windows but most cops won't mess with you unless it's pretty dark. I figured that they probably wouldn't mess with me as long as they could somewhat see me through the window, so I went with 35%. Some guys have 5% all the way around and it gives the impression that you're going to do drive-by's LOL.
I wouldn't go with 5% on the back, but that's just me. All of my friends who have theirs done 5% say it's too dark. Not to mention the difference between 5% and 35% will be more noticeable and will sort of break up the continuity, but it's all opinion in the end...
I'll post pics when I can!
Thanks a lot!! The way the tinter described me to the tint it is easy to see through from the inside but gives the appearance of 5% from the outside. My neighbor just had his 07 F150 done there and he has factory 20% rear windows and had the doors done 35% and it looks too light to me. But any pictures would be helpful in my decision.. Thanks again!!

Now, having said that (and having edited my first post), I'm thinking that you should go for a 20% rear window & rear door windows, and a 35% tint on the driver & passenger front door windows. Just my five. I took pics so you can see how my 20/50 tint looks (I'd go a tad darker on the fronts if you're not worried about a ticket where you live):

I'll keep these pics up for a few weeks, then delete them from my Photobucket acct...

i don't like the way a car looks with tints on the back and not on the front
