Help me decide

I'm trying to decide on a new car. Circumstances have occurred and I have to get rid of my 06 v6 stang. I've done a ton too it, I honestly wish I could keep it.

But this provides me with a nice opportunity. I've always wanted an evo, it's been my favorite AWD car in its price range. But I'm just not sure.

I'd really like to hear some advice. Evo IX? Eventually get into an X? A different AWD car? For the same price I could s/c a mustang GT and hit 500hp pretty easily. It's these kinds of options I have to weigh. Feel free to recommend any car at all, even if it's just because you've been looking at one recently or you've always like a specific car!

Thanks for any help you guys can provide!

No offense but why did you mod a v6? you could have had 500hp easily with out a s/c. Just my 0.2 cents.

I'm not sure what you mean. I had a v6 because it was easy and convenient to have it (worked something out with my dad) and decided I would keep it for a while so I started modding it. v6's can only reach about 450. I was comparing a whipple'd mustang GT at 500ish rwhp, to an evo or another awd car, that would have less raw horsepower, but would be AWD. I prefer response and quickness over total speed capability.

I hope I put it better that time. It was just an example of my current options.

this forum is going to be bias towards an evo.

if i was you, i would get a 03-04 cobra(they come with a built bottom end). they are tons better than a gt...
i was going to get one but i got a screaming deal on my evo.

What circumstance made you get rid of a v6 mustang... but now your looking at a 35k awd car???? Wouldnt it have been cheaper to keep your stang? Instead of modifying it, just pay the monthly bill..

Buy what you want, if you base your decision with people on a forum's opinions your never going to be happy with what you end up buying.

What in my post led you to believe I was trying to save money? I'm taking advantage of this opportunity. I'm upgrading, and I figure AWD is the "quickest" option, and evo's consistently out perform STIs, but I wanted to hear opinions and general advice. Mustangs are only good in a straight line, and even then rwd is just a ***** and fords are meh. It's also pretty obnoxious when soccer mom's and grandpa's drive the same car as you.

Trash your stang & buy one. Having traction makes up for the dif. in HP. In the end there two dif. cars though. One is american muscle, and one is rally. Bottom line is , a IX with under 2k in mods, will pull a C6, 06 mustang, 03-04 cobra, and many many other cars. At the track, it will destroy them (exceptions for the vette, the C6 is very impressive, those old people put up a fight). Its always a toss up between, power, drivability, and handleing, in the end though. Choose whats most important to you.
