Question Changing the clutch

This might sound like such a rookie question, but since this Evo is my first car that is manual tansmission, I don't know what the car feels like when the clutch needs to be changed, so I don't really know what to look for when the clutch starts to go. Does it slip more or something?

put it in 4th at 4000rpms and floor it until 6500 or so, if the car is doing over 85 when you let off, you are fine.

Basically, if the tach jumps up without the speedometer doing the same it is clutch time.

If a clutch is slipping ( or at least what i found... ) is that you can smell the "clutch" smell.... and you can see the tach thing go up even when the speedometer does not... you will be able to feel it.. perhaps not right away, but u will know...
