New Owner in the NW
Hey All,
Wanted to say Hello to everyone out there and introduce myself. Well, I've been wanting an EVO ever since I got screwed out of one back in '03 and finally was able to obtain it
Picked her up last week down in Salem and brought her back up to the house in Eastern WA. Prior owner had her since she was new and has put a few mods into the drivetrain (Exedy Clutch, Vishnu Stage 2, 272/272 HKS Cams etc.) but needless to say she was suffering from the dreaded idle problem. Looked around for a tuner (the board was a great help BTW) and contacted Lucas English down in Camas, WA. Dropped her off yesterday (I'm a bit nervous) but Lucas seemed to put me at ease. Talked to him about the problems I am having w/ her and He's going to remove the EXEDE from Vishnu and flash the stock computer to work his tuning magic. Took me and my Bro for a ride in his EVO, and man is it quick, had a heck of a time. I'm anxiously waiting picking her back up this week when he is finished with the job. Anyways, thanks for the helpful posts all as I haven't been a member but have been reading the board for quite some time now. My main experience has been w/ musclecars and bikes (Harleys) and this is my first import tuner, so I apologize ahead of time for the questions, LOL. Warmest wishes and regards.

welcome to evom bro.....i am in oregon and my car is at Extreme Turbo Systems right now getting the new 57 trim put on and lucas is actually gonna tune it. Are you gonna start modding it soon?
