sooo me and a friend were bored one day... and he got the bright idea of uncapping his 2003 evo's stock blowoff valve ... ie ventin it to atmosphere and cappin of the intake... well haha i forgot to tighten down his clamp and the heavy foot that he has .... led to boostin every single chance he had too... haha well ummm silly me... not tightenin his clamp down that led to the bov was loose that he boosted it and it popped off... the car began to sputter and slowly died.... he pulled over to the side and put it back into place and once again he boosted till it popped off.... and again it slowly died and we had to pull over again.... well this time the check engine light came on and we put the bov back on... VTA again buut this time it now sounds different.... and possible reasons why??? jus curious

haha....yea you shouldn't have done that....haha....as to why, i dont think anybody has tried it. just not the smartest idea.haha

If it popped of three times already... I would guess to make it pop off three more times under boost.. That should fix it. WOW!!!
