Whats up! I'm kinda new here on this forum. I don't have an Evo, but I want one and I might get one at the end of the year. I'm black guy and I wanted to know if any black person owns an Evo. I've never seen a black person with one in my area, but I do know of one in this forum.

This is a dumb question, of course there are black Evo owners and I know at least 4 in my circles. I think a better question would be..... "Are there any gay people that drive Evos?" Because the Evo has a reputation of being a "manly car" and not a "chick car" like the 350z or S2000s or like most VWs.

 

I think thats an awesome question. There is nothing wrong with that. Nobody would say sh*& if this guy asked if any hot chicks drove Evo.

Your race, age, etc should not dictate that kind of car that you desire to drive as long as it is within your budget and you want it!

It's a pretty simple question. He wants to confirm that there are in fact black people that drive Evos. I don't see anything stupid or offensive about it; he's just asking...

Also, in our times, many find it offensive that a person's race has to do with anything at all... much less what car you want to own. So that's probably why people are coming down on him for the question.

I'm closing the thread BEFORE anyone says anything REALLY stupid. It's more of a question "asked & answered" issue than anything else, but we've seen how quick threads can go down hill here too.
