Where to buy oil replacement bolt

I have searched this fourm and used the search button as well as google and cannot come across a place to buy a replacement 17 mm bolt that you unscrew to change your oil. Mine is about stripped due to previous owner and was wondering if anyone knew where to buy one? Thanks so much

Dealer will have the OEM bolt. Some of the online Mitsu parts shops will as well. I would suggest getting a magnetic drain plug since you've got to replace yours anyway. KICS makes a nice one and costs around $15.

Since we're on the subject, anyone use one of those magnetic drain plugs? Was wondering if they are effective, or even necessary...

I have used the magnetic plugs. I think they are great, I had a 96 nissan pickup the tranny had a magnetic drain plug from the factory and that had collected so much stuff it was crazy, the plug had so many shavings it looked like it had a beard.
I use one now in the basic lancer and it will collect a little wear material on it, just wipe it off and you are good to go.
