I paid 880 a year on my IX w/SSL,blanket coverage,100-300k also. I,m 50 with no accidents or tickets. I should have my 07 335i in about 2-3 more weeks, and the insurance on that is going to be 780 a year with the same coverage. My ins. agent told me its because of the high rate of property damage (the evo) and injury caused buy the QUOTE,young jerk offs who have these killer cars and dont know how to drive them.I thought the insurance was going to be much more just because its a BMW.The agent told me it goes by the car and its history, not buy just the brand. So i,m happy.BTW its an 07 335i coupe, space grey metallic, sport package, aluminum trim w/black leather and a 6 spd manual.(of course). I will (and do) miss my BR350IX #005, but turning 50 my tastes in cars are changing a little.IMO the Evo will always be the best bang for the buck for all around RAW performance.

$359.80 for 6 months/about $60 per month. 250k/500k w/ $500 deductible. 24 w/ a squeaky clean record, but it's insured under my 49-year-old dad's name also. It was more like $600 every 6 months under my own name. Indiana Farm Bureau insurance.

Good feedback. I like the 335 quite a bit, very nice and many tuners have been flashing them for 60-80 more hp easy. I have my eye on the new 1 series coming out that will also pack the twin turbo 300hp six. Interesting that the 335 is cheaper to insure. Makes sense if EVOs are ending up wrapped around trees, etc.

Yeah, you are covered for sure. You definitely have me beat with Geico. The 500/ 1Mil coverage is huge and in all reality is something I should upgrade to due to property values (equity) going up. Not sure if your area of Cali is cheaper than my Northern VA region, but sounds like I should give Geico a call. I have Allstate.
