Question Install How to BOV?

Another newb question. I am looking for a how to for a BOV install, did a search with no luck, specifically a Turbo XS or a Forge. Does it just bolt right up or is there other things I need to do?

look at your stock one, the aftermarket installs the same way for the most part if your recirculating........

It is pretty easy. You just gotta make sure you know which side of the valve dumps into the intake. Certain Forge models may require different springs for the BOV depending on how much boost you run. I got the greddy type rs recircualting model, which works out of the box on a stock evo.

Just make sure you adjust it (if it's adjustable) to the proper boost levels, otherwise you'll either leak or surge.

or you could just use your stock one unless you are starting to leak from to much boost because stock is the best thing to use until you just cant anymore. who cares about the cool pssshh noise..

Im not concerned about the noise, but I just wanted something so I could hold higher boost for when I start modding the car, got a great price I could not refuse so I went for it.

Where in CT are you? If it's really a pain, you could get it installed at Bishop Motorsports in Canton....they can also get you great deals on parts.
