Want to join EVO Owners club

Hi I would like to join Evo owners club and have been looking to get something for around 15k. I want to have a toy car and I think Evo is perfect way to go. I would like to know if anybody has any suggestion what is the best way to get one? I pretty much have cash ready to do the purchase.

First off, its not a toy. I don't know your background, but this is a serious machine which requires a fair bit of knowledge to maintain and keep performing well.

Second, it would help if you posted in the region you are located within to get club info. Also actually owning an Evo would help :P

Third, its not a ****ing toy.

I'm located in Philadelphia. I agree with you that this is a serious machine, but when I'm saying toy I mean this not going to be my daily transportation. It's going to be my hobby, something to do on the weekends.

100% agree its not a ****ing toy

No no srt4 for for me I use to sell dodges back in the days, and srt4 is defenatly not something I'm looking for. I'd rather get stock 03 evo8 and put some money into it then spending 30k-36k on the new one.

Thumbs up

^^^ GOOD.. and that 15K is just going to get you that.. an 03 beat to death evo.. that just about sums it up.. but you may never know.. I saw look into the 23~25K range for a decent one.. and also nowadays STOCK is hard to come by at close distance..

Even if it was modified, people will not sell for that low with the mods. 23-25k range for me means that ether have to wait or i have to get a second car loan

that maybe an evo isnt for u if u cant afford a 20k+ loan. anyone with a brain knows an 03 evo with decent mileage in good condition wont be worth around 15k. more like closer to 20k. even those require some maintenance most likely.

gluck anyhow

you can probably find a decent one for 17 or 18 if you wait and look for the right deal.

I'm not saying that I can't afford it, I'm saying that I dont want a car payment and if I can get an Evo for 15k I can have the car now, and put some money into it when needed, plus any way I'm going to modify it but I'm going to worry about that after I do the purchase.

Did you want the engine as well as the whole car for $15k? You sure you're not talking about a wrx?
