exhaust question?

I ve recently purchased an 06 evo 9 that should be here next friday if everything goes as planned. I was a subaru owner for a while before deciding to go to the dark side. Here's my question on subarus you cant run a tbe without tuning for it or well its not the smartest thing to do, anyway are evos the same or could I put an intake and a turbo back and run that for a while until I could save for a pro tune or should I just do it all at once

thanks

oh btw I did try searching so a nice simple answer would work just fine.

It's best to do it all at once. With a turbo back exhaust you will feel some power gains. With the intake, you may lose some power if it's cone filter. You can throw in an aftermarket drop in filter with out having it tuned though.

It's safe to run the car temporarily with a TBE, MBC, and an intake. Just don't go crazy on the boost until tuned. 20-21 psi max on 93 untuned.
