Hey everyone, I'm Chris...new to the forums. I just bought a 2008 red Lancer ES with plans for modding. I have pretty simple plans for modding it, nothing really serious...just a quick, secksy ride. I'm 21, will be 22 in Nov. and live in Southern Mississippi. I'm sorta in college, and work for the local school district in the tech department. I've owned a 99 3000GT SL, 92 3000GT VR4, 2006 Suzuki 600cc Katana. I gave the SL to my mother before I deployed overseas, the engine in the VR4 spun a bearing about 4 months ago, and I got hit at a red light on the Katana 2 days after I rode it off the lot (about 2 months ago, totaled). Obviously I needed a ride for work and after bumming my roommates beater for a month and a half, I bought my Lancer. I really like the way the '08 looks, which is one of several reasons for getting one. Thats my story...and I'm stickin' to it. I was a member of 3si.org for my 3kGTs and since I gotta lancer now, I had to migrate 
My plans for modding are(hopefully in this order):
-=Intake
-=Exhaust
-=CF Hood
-=Evo style spoiler
-=ECU
-=Turbo w/ big shiny FMIC to show off behind the grill
-=BOV/timer/gauge/boost controller
-=17'' Rims/tires (dunno what kind yet, but I usually favor the 5 spoke styles)
Since hardly anyone makes parts for the '08 yet, it's hard to see all this coming into play. RRM has a few bits and pieces and claim to be testing a turbo for it. I like their CF hood, but I'm curious to see what other styles will come out. Obviously my mod order above shows that I don't really care as much about the rims, and I may never get the turbocharge done...but I, at the very least, want the first 4 in my list. If anyone knows of a site that sells/displays '08 mods please send me the link via PM. Thank you everyone for reading and hope to get to know you all a little better.
