2 EVO's to choose from

I have two evos avaliable in my area and I dont know which one is the better choise.

EVO #1: 2004 Black with 62000 miles, Clean Title, Pretty much Stock.

EVO #2: 2003 Silver with 48000 miles, Rebuildable Title, Runs @ 22psi, Reflashed ECU.

Both Evos are about the same price. Which One is better?

It lloks like 2003 pulling lot harder, and 2004 seems lot slower. 2004 will need a new hood because aftermarket carbon fiber hood is cracked. The Idle on 2003 is jumping a little bit (probably cause it was reflashed) and 2004 Idling perfect

It's reflashed. It's going to pull harder.

In my personal opinion, you're better off with the 2004, it's never been "totalled". And when you mod it, you can know exactly what is done to it.

And offer them $1,000 less as it needs a new hood! After you mod the stock 2004 it will pull just as hard, and go down the road straight too! Thats a plus!!

Go for the clean title one. Dont worry about the reliablity of these cars. Ive seen em up past 100k. Also the timing belt should have already been done. Finally a wrecked cars chassis might flex more due to the impact/repair work and you dont know the serverity of the wreck, or the quality of the work.
