Martin at AMS told me not to worry about it unless you're planning to go over 500 whp or so, even with some road racing here and there. If you're going *****-out in any form of racing, though, you'll need an upgraded 5-speed anyway, so no worries.

i plan on giving it alot of power and doing autoX so yeah staying away from the MR!

We said road racing, not autox. You are in 1st and 2nd gear in autox, and on very rare occasions, you MIGHT hit 3rd, but not for long. 1-3 are STRONGER in the 6spd than in the 5spd, so what you're saying doesn't make sense. Also, you don't use a lot of power in autox, so that part of your plan doesn't make sense either. I think you should step back and actually think about what you're doing before making big decisions like this.

Blitz, I'm not sure I believe Martin said that when the big two trans builders (Shep & Tre) have said that the 6spd is rated up to only 300hp or so. I had ~325whp when mine went out...

He said I should have no problems when I told him I don't plan on exceeding 400 whp, but that may be because I also told him I'm not planning on doing extended road race sessions (maybe a lap or two here and there). If I recall correctly, yours went out during a long session, right?
