Ya, not really sure if the insurance is gonna cover it or not.. I got the car yesterday (well two days ago now) right as the insurance place was closing.. so i was like.. o well..i'll give them a call after work.. and well..this had happened after work...woot.. and if the insurance is set up like i think it is..it's going to cost me a pretty $1000 deductible. I should have just payed the extra 90 a month for the $500...o well it's all over now.. i'll update as soon as i hear more

That sucks man. This is why I refuse to drive my car to the mall, Walmart or any other place with crowded parking lots. Unfortunately there will always be the jealous and ignorant people who will damage it cause they can't have one of their own or just hate that it's foreign and ricey looking.

Damn that's just ignorant of people.

BTW...Please don't tell me you really paid $40,000 for your car. Is that just and exageration? Evo's are in the $30k range.

i tell you same thing happened to me, yesterday as a matter of fact. i didnt get a key mark but for some reason someone was touching my car and looking into my window. to see if i had anything possibly worth stealing. mind all of you this was broad daylight, after my friend screamed GET THE **** AWAY FROM THE CAR they backed off but, we were just staring them down and they hoped in the car and drove off. i tell you nowadays you cant trust anybody.

Really messed up. Certainly not something that is pleasent to have happen to you. Especially when you have to walk around not knowing who did it.

God, SH*T like this pisses me OFF!!

Some teenagers drove by my house and egged my M3 on Halloween. It didnt leave permanent marks, but it sucked cleaning everything off. A few weeks ago, some little bi*ch broke into the M3 to steal my V1 radar. He shattered the window, and left all of these marks in the interior.

I live in a pretty nice neighborhood, but there are jealous people all over the world. They fu*k up your hard earned property because they are too worthless to get it themselves.

Someone stole my BBS center caps from the wheels. Nothing is sacred and if it's not protected it's stolen or damaged. Mind boggling that someone would take those.

What the f*** is wrong with people? They get pissed off b/c someone worked hard to get something that they can't have so they destroy it. I was told that the gash was to the point that they would have to sandblast the entire side of the car then repaint it all.. pretty sweet huh?? This completely ruined possibly one of the best days ever. O well, now i guess i know why no one ever drives any of the ferraris or lambos they have, they're afraid they're gonna have to cough up and extra 5k to pay for something some jacka** does. Oh well, guess the Evo's gonna have to be a weekend car from now on (that i can't park anywhere)
Sorry to hear about your misfortune, I hope you get it fixed soon.....

time to break out the beater car and leave the EVO as a weekend car

thats the reason why I have around 7000 miles on my 2005 Evo8 bought in March 29th 2005. Its a weekend car, and I only drive it to and back from the track .. Went with my friend to Costco and then to Best Buy once, but I told him to go inside by himself and I wait for him outside. Just couldn't leave my car.
