I have the RRM SRI and i dont hear anything from the intake. I have the rrm exhaust with the high flow cat and a straight pipe in place of the resonator, so my exhaust is quite loud, so that may be why i am not hearing any thing. Can someone tell me what their SRI sounds like and if somethin is wrong with mine since i can't hear nuthing....

 

Open the hood and push on the throttle line, to make the engine rev, make sure the car is on and in park or parking brake is on first. That way you get a closer listen to hear the intake.

 

It just sounds like suction. Nothin' special, nothing too loud. At the top end it sounds like a bit of a growl.

 

its your exhaust. i got exhaust before the intake and i can hear a difference but nothing like it would sound like if it were by itself. search for rmr intake sound and you will hear it without exhaust.

I get nice sound from my RRM SRI. I have the RRM axle back exhaust but can hear the SRI when I jump into it.

 

injen sri -- thas what i have...... if its sound you want, you def. get it with the injen sri! --- i remember the first day i installed it a while back -- i went out on the main street and just zoomed up and down it for like 1\2 hr... just loved that noise it made when i slammed on the accel.. oh well-- just sharin my thoughts! later --
