I had a rubbing noise coming from one of my belts and it only happened from cold starts between 1000 and 1500rpm only after I drive the car around the sound would go away until the next morning when I started the car. I brought it to a shop and we replaced all the belts and pulleys and the noise went away but now the noise is slowly returning. What the hell is wrong with my car?!? the work was done only 2 weeks ago. I drive an 06 IX with 15000 miles. can someone please help?

 

You know i can't even imagine a rubbing noise on a belt, Does the belt show any signs of something rubbing against it? Does it squeak?

 

You might need to tighten the belts down again as they sometimes loosen up a bit after being used for a week or two.
