Buying stock or moddified evo?

Opinions and info on whether or not to buy used evo stock or tuned? What common problems should I look for and how to detect them. Looking to spend the most 24k in about 8 months what year n mileage should I expect to get? Evo viii vs. ix?

if you're lucky you might be able to find an IX with a medium amount of miles, preferrably stock. You really want to avoid used evos as much as possible, but a low mile IX is the way to go.

Modified EVOs are not a bad thing at all... just be smart which one you buy. Some people who mod their car will actually take much better care of it and abuse it less then someone who has the car stock. Also, you get a lot of free mods =)
