Drew1020, If I were you and wanted to purchase a reflash I would go with Mellon Tuning simply because you aren't going to find a more personal touch to your tune. I'll walk you through the process from start to finish and explain exactly what's being done to the car, where the changes are made, how much and why it was done so you feel very comfortable with the process.

I've been at it since the late 80's and certainly not new to the game

I've seen tunes from pretty much every vendor on Evolutionm.net and around the world and what sets me apart from the others is the amount of time they spend perfecting the tune. Some will send you a canned flash and that's it... some will give you a handful of revisions and call it a day. Mellon Tuning flashes are completely customized to fit your mods, when I get done.. it's perfect, there's no other word for it and I don't put any limit on the amount of revisions it takes to make that happen. I don't want my customers "satisfied" I want them excited about their new tune and the way their car runs!

p.s. I was omitted from that poll along with many other tuners when it was created so it's a bit skewed. I don't think the thread creators intentions were bad but he simply failed to include everyone for some reason.

There is no better value in the Evo reflash market than the TTP-Engineering eflash service. Bringing quality service and products to the Evolutionm.net community since 2005, there is not a vendor with higher feedback ratings per vendorship time with Evolutionm.

Our 350+ positive feedback ratings and leading eflash poll results should be more than enough information to convey a message of trustworthyness, expertise in tuning and adequate tenure in the Evo market to make you feel comfortable and confident in your decision should you choose to invest in TTP-Engineering for your tuning services.

Designed as a base flash service originally, the TTP-Engineering eflash service has evolved into a mini-custom tune when the customer is able to provide us with the data necessary to maximize the tune for your modifications.

No matter who you choose to invest in, we urge you to take a look at vendor feedback ratings, eflash poll voting results, service and reviews (posted) as well as pricing. Our pricing is available here: http://ttp-engineering.com/catalog/p...roducts_id=265

If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me directly via PM, AIM or email.

Thanks
TTP

Mellon Tuning! Chris is in the middle of fine tuning my Evo as well. He is consistent in communication and details everything about the progress and alterations that occur. He emphasizes perfection, and that my friends is what we all strive for, not to mention what our Evo deserves

Simple reality check is most of the tuners mentioned in this thread are good at what they do.

But if you want your car dyno tuned (ie most hp reliably), I'd go see Sean Ivey. CBRD is a great shop but its a drive and half, Al (aka dynoflash) is a good tuner but can be a real pita at times.

Mail in tunes are ok, but to dial it in to your car for the most hp you get to spend a month data logging and playing email tag.

Up to you though.

Scott @ TTP is the best you will find in tuning an Evo via ECU reflashing. I advise you to review the service and review threads and you will see what I am talking about. I distinctly remember him getting more power and torque by remote tuning 2000 miles away than AMS did custom tuning the same guy on their dyno in person.

Now that is skills if you ask me!

dyno tunes are good for dyno pulls and print outs...a real tune needs to be done on the road/track in real conditions.

This is true. Data log lab was used on the AMS flash and on our flash. Both flashes were tested on the street. Good stuff.

I'll recommend Mellon or 4 wheel slide to you for an e-mail tune if you go the e-mail route. TTP was probably the fastest tune I have gotten though after my cams went in.

Edit- I have been tuned by Mellon, TTP and now in the middle of a tune from 4 Wheel Slide.
