stock launch control????
Using ECUFlash, the value is labeled "Stationary Rev Limiter." You can change it with the Tactrix cable.
On the '05+, it's set to 5000 RPM stock. On the 03 and 04 it is set to 7800 i believe, effectively disabling it.
If you have an '05+, you can simply:
1) Be COMPLETELY stopped
2) FULLY depress the clutch (it's triggered by the bottom clutch switch)
3) Shift to 1st gear
4) Slowly rev to 5000 RPM
The revs will bounce at 5000 RPM and at that point you can go WOT to build about 6 psi to launch with. This will cause MAJOR clutch wear if used incorrectly. So, if you are practicing launches using this method, the general rule is if you smell the clutch, you're moving too slow.
