you just get a maf with a filter and you would hear the swoosh sound, if anything I would get a greddy Type S if you can find one sounds sick and is pretty much like the stock one...kinda

On the EVO a BOV is not a good idea. The MAF sensor measures the air coming into the engine at the beginning of the intake tract. A BOV releases some of this measured air out of the intake system, making some of the ECU calculations off.
Not to hiack, I too am in search, I was set on a DV Forge (did some research) but on a site they had a forge dv and a forge rs recirculating BOV. thats when I got confused. I've asked people around where I live and searched. whats the difference.? Piping? I think the BOV is in the uicp and the DV is branched off the intake pipe. If I recall. Is that the only diff. or with the "recirculating" BOV still vent.

thanks

Your Euromarket IX MR has the factory metal diverter valve fitted as standard equipment, right? If so, then this factory metal DV is considered to be the best thing available up until about 25 PSI. Above 25 PSI you may want to consider an upgrade. Otherwise stick with the factory piece.

you can have a BOV and just connect the hose to recirc back into the intake....so u can get a bov to get ur swoosh sound and just use clamps and a hose to recirc back in

I had this same exact question when I got my EVO a few months back because I also love the sounds of a BOV. I talked to the chaps @ SpeedElement and when I got my TT installed purchased an HKS drop in filter and I can definetely hear my DV now Stick with your stocker until you upgrade your turbo
